2023 Reading Borough Council election
The 2023 Reading Borough Council election was held on 4 May 2023 to elect members of Reading Borough Council in England.[1] It coincided with local elections across the United Kingdom. One member was elected for each of the 16 wards and an additional member in Park ward following the resignation of Brenda McGonigle.[2] The Labour party won the election retaining control of the council and winning 11 seats, a gain of one. The Green party won three seats, the Conservatives two, a loss of one, and the Liberal Democrats one.[3]
