2023 Worcester City Council election

The 2023 Worcester City Council election took place on 4 May 2023 to elect members of Worcester City Council in Worcestershire, England.[2] This was on the same day as other local elections in England. The council remained under no overall control. The Conservatives went from being the largest party to being the third largest party, not winning any of the seats available at this election. The Conservative leader of the council, Chris Mitchell, was one of those who lost his seat. Labour were the largest party after the election for the first time since before the 2000 election, and the Green Party made the most gains, gaining four new seats and winning the popular vote for the first time ever.[3]
